There's an article on my RSS feed from The Press Democrat that is about a man in possession of heroin. The guy was only pulled over for talking on the cellphone, but it led to the officer searching his car and he found about six pounds of heroin wrapped up. The guy was an immigrant driving without a license, so he will be getting multiple charges.
One thing I don't understand about these drug laws are why people can get multiple charges for the possession of a substance. The man had heroin in his possession, but it was in a car, so he gets another charge for the transportation of it. What if he was just keeping it in his car? I know it seems unlikely, but to say he wasn't is assuming things, not the truth.

Elections

Many people are going out to vote, and the results seem to show that Obama is winning right now. A town in New Hampshire was the first one to vote, and has been for 60 years. Polls for them were opened at midnight, and had a 100% turnout. Even Hillary Clinton thinks that Obama will win the election. Obama has held the lead for a while, but a number of factors can change that.

Girl Stoned To Death In Somalia

A thirteen year old girl who was raped just recently got stoned to death in Somalia. Many reporters estimated that the girl was 23, but Amnesty International said that it was a 13 year old girl who was raped. The family tried to report the rape, but police accused her of adultery and then detained her. If the girl was 13, it would have been illegal to convict her for adultery. 50 men stoned her in a football stadium in front of 1000 people. A lot of the people watching this event said it was wrong, but they couldn't do anything because the authorities were armed. I personally think this event is really wrong, and they need to change some things over there.
